This Sunday morning, Michel Bordeleau will offer a free introductory podorythmy workshop. Come learn, discover, or rediscover the art of foot tapping to the rhythm! No prior experience is required: whether you are a beginner or initiated, everyone is welcome!
Michel Bordeleau is a multi-instrumentalist and singer: guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin, percussion, and podorythmy. Active for forty years in the traditional music scene, with over twenty albums in his career, he constantly renews and innovates. In 1987, at the age of 23, he joined La Bottine Souriante and participated for 15 years, until 2003. He contributed to seven albums and several compilations, many of which were awarded gold records. A founding member of Les Charbonniers de l’Enfer, Les Mononcles, Manigance, and Discord, and a former member of Hommage aux aînés, he is a reference for Quebecois podorythmy.
